The Chain Link Fence Manufacturers Institute (CLFMI) has announced that the 2025 Les Grube Memorial Design Award has been awarded to Patterhn-Ives, LLC, an award-winning architectural firm based in St. Louis, MO, and Empire Fence and Custom Iron Works, also of St. Louis, for their work on the Love Bank Park Project.
The Love Bank Park Project transformed an abandoned lot in a St. Louis neighborhood into a dynamic community space, featuring a park, basketball court, and gathering area. The project showcases innovative uses of chain link fencing, blending durability with artistic design to create a welcoming and functional environment for the local community.
Architects Anna Ives and Tony Patterson, partners at Patterhn-Ives, LLC, led the design, while Empire Fence and Custom Iron Works expertly installed the chain link portions of the project. Their collaborative efforts demonstrate the power of chain link fencing as both a practical and aesthetic element in urban design.
CLFMI congratulates Patterhn-Ives, LLC and Empire Fence and Custom Iron Works on their well-deserved recognition for this impactful project.
