Stephens Pipe and Steel, Inc. opened in 1974 as a small, privately held, regional wholesaler of chain link fencing products serving mainly the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. Today, in our 46th year, we are a 100% US-owned, multi-faceted distributor, and vertically integrated manufacturer of galvanized steel products. We have one of the largest distribution networks in North America, serving more than 42 states and Canada. Our operation includes branch facilities in 16 states, with more than 450 acres of outdoor storage space, 16 manufacturing buildings totaling more than 3,000,000 square feet, and an in-house transportation fleet of over 160 semi-trucks. We operate 116 weaving machines at 9 different locations, manufacturing Galvanized, Aluminized, and Vinyl coated chain link fabric, including security, no-climb
mesh. In addition, we operate six powder coating operations at three of our facilities.

We operate four tubing mills entering their sixth year of operation. We also operate a one-of-a-kind proprietary drawing/coating operation for the manufacture of galvanized wire approaching its eighth year anniversary, and four-wire coating operations that are the most modern in the world. Our acquisition of the former Jamestown Fruit of the Loom facility provided us with over 1,000,000 million square feet where we have consolidated many of our operations including Shipping, Warehousing, Chain Link Fabric manufacturing, PVC Fence fabrication, Gate fabrication, Powder-coating, and several more. We are actively selling to a diverse number of markets including dog kennels, agricultural products, O.E.M.s, greenhouse/nursery growers, and the like. But, first and foremost, we are in the business of being the largest privately held fence manufacturer/supplier in the nation.
