CLFMI Member Spotlight: Tree Island Steel
Tree Island Steel is a prominent North American manufacturer of premium steel wire and wire products. With roots dating back to 1964, they have built a reputation for quality, innovation, and breadth in wire-based offerings.
Products That Span Applications
Tree Island’s portfolio includes industrial wire (high carbon, low carbon, black annealed), nails (bulk, collated, packaged), stucco reinforcement (K-Lath woven and welded), agricultural fencing, rolled fencing, fence panels, welded wire reinforcement, and accessories like fence staples.
Their ToughPanel fence panels are built with welded mesh, coated finishes, and robust design tailored for residential or agricultural use. They back their fence panels with full replacement warranties to ensure performance.
Their ToughStrand rolled fencing is designed for demanding agricultural settings. With fixed-knot or hinge-joint options, these fences offer strength, resilience, and reduced need for post density.
Manufacturing Strength & Reach
Tree Island operates three manufacturing facilities across North America, including locations in British Columbia, Western Canada, and California. Their network allows flexible supply and consistent quality control over a wide geography.
Because they integrate vertical operations like coating, welding, and finishing, Tree Island can offer both large standard runs and custom solutions. Their inventory and supply chain capacity let them maintain reliable service so customers receive the products they need on time.
