After the great turnout and participation we had at the July Summer Meeting, we know the 2020 CLFMI Virtual Annual Meeting and 60th Anniversary Celebration will be even better! Once again, we’re keeping our original dates of November 4,5, & 6, and attendees will be participating in some new activities, getting updated information about the industry and the economy, and discussing what the 2020 Elections are going to mean for business.

2020 Election Prediction Ballots Sent Out

Just as we did in 2016, we’ll have a contest to see who the best prognosticator is in the CLFMI family. You’ll have to predict the winners in the Presidential, Senatorial, and Gubernatorial races.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there will be no in-person balloting. Balloting will be by email only.

Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 3:00 – 5:00 PM EST

Virtual Opening Reception and 60th Anniversary Celebration

Members, spouses, and guests are invited to this unique evening of CLFMI nostalgia, “speed networking,” and many, many surprises as we conclude our 60th year as the leaders of the fencing and chain link industries. This will be a historic event, the first-ever CLFMI BYOB&F (Bring Your Own Beverage & Food) party.

Outlook 2021 – What the Chain Link Industry Can Expect

CLFMI will be hosting representatives from various industries and agencies that impact the economic “drivers” of the chain link markets. You’ll be able to get updates from the steel, architectural, homebuilding, public sector construction, and other segments of the economy. We’ll vary the formats (presentation, panel, etc.) and allow plenty of time for input from attendees.

Special Presentation: Spotlight on Steel with Tim Gill, American Iron and Steel Institute

Tim Gill monitors, assesses and forecasts the impact of economic conditions and policies on the North American steel industry and its end-use markets.
He provides data and analytical support to AISI’s public policy, market development, and communications functions to manage its industry statistics program and is the staff director for its Commercial Research Committee. Previously, he was with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).
